Cats

I'm a cat lover, the whole family are cat lovers especially my youngest one, Dila. She can't see cats around kedai makan or tepi jalan, she will at least touches the cats, she knows I will say "no more cat Dila, four at home are too many for me to look after because I'm a busy working mother...Cats are just like your own kids, they need a proper meal, medicine, shelter and attention. To me, if you have cats but you put them in the cage, I feel sorry for them except those adopt cats for shelter I really pay my respect!.

I think more or less I have been influenced by my daughter Dila to adopt more cats. I keep telling her nantilah dulu, mak penat nak jaga banyak2,..Dila persuades me to take male cat sort of to replace our late Tiger, a tabby cat died at the age of 12 years old due to sakit tua.

My late Tiger, died on first day Raya Haji 2011
Since then, we don't have new cat until one day, my heart melted out seeing this lovely cat at the pet shop Pusat Kucing Ikhlas Taman City Jalan Kuching. She is so adorable and we finally decided to buy her - a female British short hair after kaw tim price dengan owner pet shop tu dia kasi lah kita orang dengan harga RM750.00 instead of RM880.00. Actually, my eldest Arina wanted so much to have a not so British Short-hair kinda grey cat (yang campuran pun tak apa), hari-hari cakap pasal nak kucing kelabu sampai dia nyaris kena tipu dengan online cat for sale. She saw in Mudah.my this guy from Sarawak advertised "British short hair cat for sale" and asked my daughter to bank in RM400 before he can courier the cat to Semenanjung. Lucky enough my daughter told me about her intention to buy, I said hold on,  mana tahu kalau-kalau dia tipu. Kebetulan I read in Harian Metro a few people got cheated after they banked in the money, the cat never arrived at all and it has been reported to police!

Back to this buying a cat story, we were actually wanted to reward my eldest after she has completed her Master in Biology coincide with her birthday, so I told my hubby what if we buy this cat for her, tak apalah duit boleh cari tapi kasih sayang pada anak yang dah kecapi kejayaan apalah sangat nak berkira...so that was the story of how this female cat becomes our new addition, my daughter named her Bommie!

Bommie

When we first looked at him, our hear melted, serious memang kesian tengok comot dan tapak kakinya ada kesan hitam macam terbakar mungkin dia berjalan diatas jalan raya yang panas....bila dah dimandikan, kami beri susu botol tapi dia tak pandai hisap botol dan tak pandai jilat susu. Kami terpaksa pakai syringe untuk titiskan susu ke dalam mulut dia. Selepas 2 minggu, dia aktif dan sangat playful...suami saya mulanya nak suruh anak saya bawa balik ke UIA tapi rasa tak sampai hati bila bayangkan macamana dia nak survive without his mother and milk. Akhirnya kami buat keputusan untuk bela anak kucing ni yang kami beri nama Toby!

Toby first day at home
Ini Toby berusia 2 minggu tumpang bermanja dengan ibu kucing kami, si Keket yang kehilangan anaknya, April sebulan selepas kami bawa balik Toby mungkin kerana dia cemburu ada new comer kat rumah kami.

The naughty Toby is growing up as a playful kitten. My daughter brought him to Publika one day in this pink bag, Toby kept still and relax in this bag as if nothing is going to hurt him, so cute!!

Look at him now, growing up as a handsome boy!
